Cloth Diapering
« on: January 08, 2010, 08:07:07 PM »
I was wondering if anyone ever cloth diapered? We are looking into it. I never knew how many different types there were. From AIO's to AIO's one size to the pocket type.

If you used CD what kind and which ones didn't you like? I've tried gDiapers but I wasn't a fan. I ordered 2 from this lady who makes them at home to figure out which size I need.

I've tried pockets, fitteds, AIOs, and AIOs one size.

I'm more of a fan of the regular AIOs. It's a whole lot easier IMO to use those. To me, it was like using a reusable sposie. They probably need a little more TLC THAN THE OTHER KINDS OF CLOTH BECAUSE THEY ARE SO THICK.They,as in all cloth diapers, need to be "stripped" something like every month.

Pockets are essentially like the gDiapers. They have a makeshift "hole" in the back to stuff the inserts inside them. I personally think those are a little gross.

The fitteds were OK. I just thought it was more work and more materials in order to use cloth.

Sorry for all the caps up there. I have to type this out on my phone. Let me know if you have any other questions. I'll try my best to answer them.

Awesome thanks Cindy. Yeah I don't want the pocket because that is what skeeved me about the gDiapers. What are fitted?

How did you like the AIO's one size? What brand did you use? I've heard good things about Fuzzi Buns.
